In this online tutorial, I would like to stay with the Irish theme and show you how to paint a scene from one of my favourite locations on
the Giant’s Causeway Coast, ‘Portbraddon Village’. Portbraddon or Portbraddan, as it is sometimes spelt, is a beautiful little hamlet tucked away in a secluded bay in North Antrim (The name comes from the Irish ‘Port Bradán’, meaning ‘port of the salmon’). I am looking
forward to helping you create a watercolour painting of this inspirational scene as I take you step-by-step through it from the initial sketch to the finishing touches. I’ll pass on many new tips and techniques along the way. I would be delighted if you could join me.
