Welcome to another of my online painting tutorial demonstrations for you to follow and learn from.

In this live online tutorial, I would like to give you a masterclass in painting tree trunks and branches as I show you how to paint a scene very close to my home near Moy in County Tyrone. It’s ‘The Old Pump House at The Argory’, now a National trust property, but a place where I spent many childhood days. I rambled and sketched in the woods and along the banks of river Blackwater which runs through the 350-acre Argory estate. As a teenager I was always intrigued by the fantastic architecture of the 1820’s house and the many outbuildings in the grounds. I look forward to taking you step-by-step through this really inspirational painting from the initial sketch to the finishing touches. I’ll pass on many more new tips and techniques along the way.  I would be delighted if you could join me.
